Schedule A Visit
If your daughter has expressed an interest in overnight camp, we have a few options for you to consider:
The Matoaka Experience Tour
Every Sunday of the summer, except for Visiting Day Weekend, we invite families to join us for a tour of camp. Their daughter will stay from 10am to 2pm and experience a ‘typical day’ at One Great Place!
Camp tour
If you can’t make the Matoaka Experience Tour on a Sunday, don’t worry! We still offer tours throughout the summer, with the exception of Wednesdays and Sundays.
Home Visit
Our in-home visits will move outside to your backyard, or if you’re in the city, your courtyard or nearest park. We’ll maintain proper social distancing and wear a mask when appropriate, as well as bring plenty of hand sanitizer. The directors will drive from their home to your home. They will avoid contact with others, as much as possible on their way to your home. The directors will “know before they go” to not put you or your family in any harm. As we navigate through this time together, we want to continue to partner with our families. Home visits have always been a way for camp families to meet the camp director, who you are ultimately entrusting your most prized possession with for the summer. If we can’t be in your home, we’ll meet you outside in your “backyard” and share with you what so many campers and staff affectionately refer to as “Matoaka Magic”.
Schedule A Call
If you’re interested in speaking with the directors via Skype, Facetime, or on the phone, to learn more about camp, please call us at 207.512.2300.
