There is available parking space for staff to bring your own vehicle to camp. As camp is in a fairly remote location, having your own vehicle at camp can be advantageous. Please let us know ahead of time if you are planning on bringing your own car to camp.
Driving Directions: Take I-95 North to the Waterville/Oakland Exit 127. At the exit ramp, lights take a left onto Route 137 West around the town of Oakland (at the lights in Oakland stay to the right of the Citgo gas station) and drive straight for about 9 miles. Camp Matoaka is situated on the right-hand side about 2 miles after D&L Country Store and Camp Manitou.
Bus
There is a Bus Terminal in Waterville, Maine. Camp can pick you up from the terminal on the scheduled day of your arrival.
If you elect to use this option, please advise us of where you will be traveling from and your time of arrival.
