A Stellar Saturday

Yesterday was a typical day at Matoaka- magical! The weather was perfect, and the campers made the most out of every opportunity camp offered. Every activity was participating at full force: skiing, riding, soccer, sailing, sewing, and everything else!

Everyone gathered in their College League teams to assign roles and discuss strategies for Sunday’s  Apache Relay. It was the big talking point of the afternoon as everyone was enthusiastically discussing the activities they would be participating in.

Dinner was a Mexican Fiesta! Our kitchen staff served up tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, and fajitas! Guacamole, chips, and salsa were served on the side! Ole!

That evening we had several different activities happening based on age group. Bunks 8 and 9 enjoyed a fun pool party by the waterslides with a genuine ice cream truck on hand! Bunks 10 and 11 hosted the Caribou boys here for a playdate. Bunks 12 and 13 traveled to Caribou for a social, while Bunks 14 and 15 had a social here.
